Eagles release Josh Huff following wide receiver’s arrest

Josh Huff has been released by the Eagles just days after he was was arrested with a gun, hollow point bullets and weed in his car.

Huff was pulled over for allegedly speeding on the Walt Whitman Bridge while driving into Camden, N.J., on Tuesday morning.

On Wednesday the Eagles said that Huff, a wide receiver and kick returner, would play on Sunday against the Giants.

Huff was defiant in the face of questions from reporters Wednesday, saying “what professional athlete don’t have a gun? I have a wife and I have a son at home and my job is to protect them at all costs.”
