Giants offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan challenged all of the NFL cornerbacks who have gotten under Odell Beckham Jr.’s skin on Thursday, saying that players who choose to try and get Beckham off his game are “afraid” of him and don’t believe enough in themselves to play him man to man without any extra antics.
“They’re afraid to match up against him one-on-one, mano a mano, if you will,” Sullivan said. “If that’s the approach, when you do your rankings, obviously the guy’s not courageous enough or brave enough of man enough to go ahead and play it straight up.”
Sullivan clearly was fired up by the topic and did his best to defend Beckham.
